How to Dress this Valentines Day - For Him

February 11, 2018

That one special day of the year where you and your partner get to spoil one another is fast approaching. As a gentleman i assume the restaurant has been booked, the flowers have been ordered to her desk and the most romantic card known to man has been picked from Clinton's and hidden in the man drawer. But have you thought about what to wear for the occasion? Don't be that guy who falls at the last hurdle with a poorly put together outfit which your partner has seen all the time!

Have no worries as we both give your top style tips and ultimate guide on how to look the part this Valentine'd Day.

The Turtle Neck

The Turtle Neck is smart and sophisticated, it can be worn extremely casually but also smart. Pair it with a stylish overcoat and opt for skinny black jeans with a pair of leather ankle boots. Take a look at an outfit we both regular put together which will have your partner weak at the knees. (click photo to head to product page).

Uptown Funk

If you feel the turtle neck isn't for you then that's no issue. Perhaps you prefer the 'rock'n'roll look or what we like to call the 'spicy' look which can look super smart. It is really popular at the moment and a lot of high street retailers are offering a range of top quality spicy shirts of luxury materials such as viscose and sateen. Do it right and you will have the perfect look which portrays a really cool style.

Here are a few of our favourites:

Black Floral Print Long Sleeve Print Shirt

The Mix and Match

Being a sophisticated gent never goes out of style. Mix and Matching the top and bottom half with different colours is a great way to mix up a look. Be careful with your colours here, one of our favourites is beige and blue. Top it with a classic crisp white shirt and a smart loafer for the footwear for that all round perfect look. Go the extra mile and add a light scarf because well it is February and is still cold but style wise it can look really smart.

These are just a few outfits we put together predominantly from high street retailers giving you enough time to hit the shops to get Valentine ready before the big day! Let us know what you think.

Wade out.
